Delete your DryRig account

This page explains how to request deletion of your DryRig account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need the app installed to use the email option below.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)

  1. Open the DryRig app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Account → Settings.
  3. Under Danger zone, tap Delete account.

Deletion runs right away on our servers. You are signed out and that account can no longer be used to sign in.

Option 2 — Request by email

  1. Email [email protected] from the same address registered on your DryRig account.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my DryRig account.
  3. Include the email address of the account if it differs from the one you send from.

We verify ownership and delete the account within 7 days of a confirmed request. Questions about this process: [email protected].

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove from DryRig's systems:

  • Account credentials (email address, password hash, display name)
  • Favorites, trips, checklists, reminders, and vehicle profile
  • Reviews and photos you uploaded
  • Push notification tokens and in-app support tickets
  • Host listings and related messages tied to your user id
  • DryRig's copy of subscription / entitlement records for that user

What we keep

  • App store billing records. Apple and Google may retain purchase and receipt history under their own policies. Cancel any DryRig Pro subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings if you no longer want to be billed.
  • Aggregated analytics already sent to advertising partners (for example, Meta app events). Those events are not retracted from the partner after deletion.
  • Legal or safety records we are required to retain (for example, fraud or abuse investigations), for as long as the law requires.
  • De-identified / aggregated data that can no longer identify you (for example, overall review counts on a campsite after your review is removed).

Delete some data without deleting your account

While signed in, you can remove individual favorites, trips, and reviews from inside the app without deleting the account. For anything you cannot remove yourself, email [email protected].
